The Master/Masterette Scholarship Tournament bowling competition was held in at Sleeping Giant Lanes last weekend.
Winners were Travis Bird of Billings in the scratch division and Jessica Adams of Helena in the handicap competition.
There were 70 youth that bowled in the preliminary on Saturday — 40 in the Handicap Division and 30 in the Scratch Division. The top 16 from each division moved on to match-play finals on Sunday. Four awards were given out for Saturday — High Scratch Game to Josh Forbes of Helena and Alan Johnson of Helena with a 279, High Scratch Series to Matthew Sears of Missoula with a 1,272 for six games, High Handicap Game to Jacob Haan of Billings with a 198 and High Handicap Series to Cameron Leavitt of Butte with a 1,352 for six games.
Ashleigh Preston of Butte finished 24th in the scratch division qualifying with 953 pins, Erin Murphy of Clancy was 25th with 945 and Jeffrey Preston of Butte wound up 29th with 831.
Others in the handicap standings included Caitlyn Murphy of Clancy fifth with 1,269 points, Dominic Bair of Clancy 20th with 1,215; Kasidy Wagner of Anaconda 21st with 1,209; Tucker Herzog of Clancy 25th with 1,186; Madison Wood of Butte tied for 26th with 1,185; and Briana Wagner of Anaconda 35th with 1,126.
