Butte High girls win in Missoula

11/8/2008

The Butte High girls bowling team placed first at an invitational in Missoula over the weekend. Butte High's Amanda Mulcahy, Kayla Medina and Kacee Cashell totaled 1904 as a team to win the gold.

Medina topped the girls' singles field with a 508 series. Freshman Kelly White was just short of placing for Butte with a 477 series.

The top finisher for Butte High's boys was Bob West With a 631. He took fifth in singles.

The event was held at Westside Lanes.
